I assisted [name redacted by moderator] with the Bunker Hillbillies around the early 60's, although I was not an employee of the Club. I knew [Ed Darragh] from the time I was a kid member myself. This doesn't surprise me. He was wierd.

Thank you for posting your comments and showing your support.

I am not surprised that you knew what Darragh was doing. Everyone knew, even the staff. Apparently, they did nothing to stop it.

As for Darragh, he's in prison. The possibility that someone was murdered for molesting the townie's kids is a reference to another, different individual, not Darragh. From what I have learned, the Boys Club was a spider's web of pedophilia that was supported by the administration's inability to speak of it. In my opinion, nothing has changed. I have documented the fact that children are still being raped there, and the administration's inability to speak of it has become entrenched in warfare, which I am singlehandedly battling. I have had to overcome very powerful efforts to censor this Web site, and I have only recently begun to succeed, as evidenced by your own discovery of PublicAppeal.

Again, I appreciate your support. If you have a chance, please let the townies know that the word is finally getting out. Tell them about PublicAppeal (and remember, it's a dot org not a dot com) and try to help them to see that they will all be much better off, to say nothing of their children, once the cover-up is defeated.

Good luck to you too.

Dear Jim.
I remember Mr. Darrah as a total freak. I was 13 in 1963 and can recall him grabing kinds and "playing" with them. He would also grab one kid and have everyone stand around ,sayat the pool tables, as he gave them a "pink belly".
If you don't recall this is when he would lift your shirt up and slap your belly till it was pink. As he was doing this I can picture him. his face would get beet red and his eyes would be bulging . I used to tell my friends to stay away from him 'cause he seem get off on this.
Back then we didn't know what a child molester was but looking back he seemed a classic case. If he did something to you I hope you get what you deserve. If someone killed him , he got what he deserved.
Good Luck

Jim, I feel bad for what happened to you and I have no doubt it did happen, I grew up in C-town but I thank God I never was victimized by the didlers. Each generation has there own. I am younger than you but I remember a lot of queer type counselers up the club hanging around the pool, where we all swam naked, remember there were no girls allowed back then. I never attended the day camp and I,ll tell you why, cause even as a kid I had great instincts and I did not want anyting to do with those ***** counselers. GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND GOD BLESS!

Success is not measured so much as by the title reached in life, but rather by the amount of obstacles one overcomes while trying to succeed.

Remember "What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger" and "No matter how hard or long it might seem, every day must end." Keep up the good fight.

The outward world doesn't give a fig about truth and genuine human activity; thus your lack of support. A person's lack of fame nowadays probably coincides the severity of his truthfulness. Capitalism feeds off its own negativity in a monstrous entropic circle.

Strive on. Let your encouragement stream from the uprightness of your soul.

I admire your courage. It's too bad you haven't gotten anybody to help you.
